Help with hosting files on your own domain

Now that photobucket is useless, I want to start hosting files on my own domain. I've had one for a while but don't use it, nor do I know how to use it effectively.

For example, if I want to post a picture, I do know how to do that:

But the process takes a while. I basically need to type out the address, which takes a while if there are a bunch of files.

So I'm looking for advice that would make it easy for me to host files on my own domain and then post a link to those files in forums in an easy fashion.

Re: Help with hosting files on your own domain

Just open up notepad, type out the link as it would appear in the forum for example here (I put spaces between the image tags and the example link that wouldn't normally be there):

Copy all that, and paste it to your post in the forum you are on, and just change the file name instead of typing all that out each time. Easiest way I can think of right off hand unless I am misunderstanding what you want to do.

You could have a php script list all the files in a directory and then be able to copy/paste the links.
