Dual Layer DVD Players
I was wondering what dvd players people use for Dual Layer Dvd's. I was looking on the web but didnt come accross any that seem to play DVD9. Im looking for a relativly cheap one, but I am willing to pay a little more for one that will play DVD9.
Thanks in advance for any tips No members have liked this post.

Re: Dual Layer DVD Players
Like Aaron said, they all should play DVD9. Look for one that also plays other video files (mpg, avi, etc) to cover all bases.

my $200 dollar JVC DVD player will play both +R and -R, but won't play "data discs" or discs burned with an EXTRAS_TS folder/checksums/info/etc... but just about every under$50 player at kmart/wally will play anything! go figure... No members have liked this post.

Re: Dual Layer DVD Players
How about DVD players that have higher bit rate limits. Like above the 10080 that is standard in most. I would love to find a player that works with the high rates that I have come across every once and awhile

However afaik there are still considerable compatibility issues between dvd players and burned dual layer discs - I guess that's the problem you're having? You might want to consult http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers when picking a new player. (Eh.. Hi shc, long time no see - how's tricks? ) No members have liked this post.
