Sound/music mixer ???
I was wondering if there was a mixer that you can use on your pc. I am looking to seperate vocals/drums/guitar? Just to kind of fool around with. Also something that is easy to use. Thanks in advance.

Re: Sound/music mixer ???
You can try audacity, but if you want to separate vocals/drums/guitar from an all-in-one song this can't be done.

Re: Sound/music mixer ???
there are a few stand-alone mixers that interface with software packages.
take a look at this one. I cant mix with a mouse either - it drives me nuts. http://www.guitarcenter.com/TASCAM-F...44-i1166615.gc No members have liked this post.

Re: Sound/music mixer ???
Are you looking for an outboard mixer or a way to get more than a stereo channel into your PC? If you just need to get multiple channels into your PC and use a software mixer like Cubase or even Adobe Audition, take a look at these M-Audio interfaces:
http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=...=PCIinterfaces The Tascam unit mentioned above looks pretty good and a lot more flexible for what you want if you are comfortable with the price. No members have liked this post.

Re: Sound/music mixer ???
yeah you need access to the multitrack tapes in order to remix a song
