Seeding/OpenPort Check
Can someone please tell me which port the 'open port check tool' is supposed to look at? When I go there it default checks 80 and tells me it can't see me.
On this site when I try to download I get the ole FIREWALLED label at the top. But on other sites when I complete downloading it says I am seeding back with varying upload speeds but at least it is working. Any help appreciated. Thanks, No members have liked this post.

Re: Seeding/OpenPort Check
For the 'open port check' you're supposed to enter the port number that is specified in your BitTorrent client. If you're using uTorrent you can find it in "Options" -- "Setup Guide" --> "Current Port".
Don't stress about being firewalled. You can still upload and download fine if you are firewalled. If you are not firewalled: you can connect to firewalled and non-firewalled users. If you are firewalled: can can connect to non-firewalled users. No members have liked this post.
