Puttin the Dvd to ipod

Hey what's goinon? I am a bit new to the den, but I got the Hartford Dave and Friends show, some wild stuff.

Question is:

I got the ful download...Now I want to take all these files write them as on large file and then rip em to my ipod how should I go about doing this? I got a converter for my ipod but Ihow can I combine all the files?

i have never done it, but i would think you could put each chapter in a playlist just like you do audio tracks and it would go from one to the next

ps
what and where did you get the converting program?
are you on a mac?

Depending on how the dvd is authored, you could use DVD Decrypter in IFO mode, and rip the entire main title as one vob. You would have to change the settings to "file splitting - none". Or you could use a small little app called vob2mpg available for free, and that will take the entire VTS set on your dvd and convert it into one mpg file.
