Help with uploading my first torrent

Hi All,
I attempted to upload my first torrent (stevie ray vaughan & buddy guy) yesterday, and it didn't take on my azureus program. I think it's because I somehow didn't make a .torrent file - I thought this was generated automatically however. I thought I exactly followed all the directions on how to create a torrent, but I must be off somewhere. Any help is appreciated.
