ms messenger on-is increasing my download speed

I just signed up for MS Messenger and have it running in the background.
As soon as I did this my download speed went from 105-135 to a steady 145-150, and is still there. I'm not complaining-just curious if anyone else has experienced this???

I agree, probably a coincidence.

Shut it off and see if anything happens to your D/L speed. I wouldn't necessarily expect a direct relationship.
