I suppose you're right that I don't particulalry like iPods. That's not because they're popular, or because I think they're a bad piece of kit. Its simply because if there's something better out there, why go for the compromise just because everyone else does?
If Zens were the popular thing I'd still buy one, I wouldn't change to iPod just to be "different".
