tried 30 times,still firewalled.f#&k it!! got better things to do,plus it works as is.if it aint broke don't fix it. maybe I will try again in a year or two.

p.s. did try one of things someone mentioned (can't remember which one) then I got no webpages at all.

I had a firewall issue for months. It turned out that my voip phone hook up was the problem. I had the modem going to the voip box and then to the router as instructed by my voip provider. Somehow the voip was telling the router a different ip address than the one my isp provided which made me unconnectable. When I rearranged things so the router was connected to the modem and the voip was connected to one of the routers ethernet ports, I became connectable. I also had to forward specific ports to get the voip working properly.

I don't know if this applies to your situation, but maybe it will help someone. I was banging my head for months trying to figure it out.
