Aspect ratio question/problem

Recently I converted a PAL DVD to NTSC for a friend who does not have a standalone player that plays PAL discs. (I've already given him the PAL version for trading purposes, so don't get upset ) But when I did the conversion it changed the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3. So the DVD flies now have a vertical streatch. Is there any way to "reprocess" the new 4:3 NTSC files to convert it to 16:9?

For the record, I used ArcSoft Showbiz DVD creator 2, to do the PAL > NTSC conversion.

You may be able to use ifoedit to fix it - google for it and for tutorials.

But that sounds like either a bug in ArcSoft Showbiz DVD creator 2 (in which case, complain to them), or you didn't tick a necessary box before setting the conversion going.
