Stripping Show Names

I'm a total newb using Traders Little Helper converting FLAC files. The problem I have is when someone goes through all the effort to add song titles, the name of the show and date only to be stripped away after the FLAC is converted to MP3. Is there a way to preserve those when converting?

Do you mean tags? Anytime I've converted FLAC files with tags to mp3 (for personal use only!!! and keep the original FLACs!!!!!) they retain the tags.

You can use foobar2000 or some other program to make new tags but of course you should just avoid mp3 files all together when possible. I only pervert lossless files to lossy if its for a portable device like an ipod.

What program are you using to go flac > mp3 and still retains the tags?

After reading the top post, I tried with TLH, and the tags were stripped.

Later edit: Foobar converted from flac to mp3 leaving tags intact.

I do batch conversion with WavePad but yeah foobar is a great tool too. I only realized a few weeks ago that TLH can convert to mp3
