Question Help With MKW SHN Tool (Installation)

Hey everyone,

Whenever I try to install the MKW SHN Tool that I downloaded from etree.org (his official site isnt working) I keep on getting on error message after it unpacks itself to the Temp file directory.

Any help?

Or is there any other SHN tools that I can use?

Get rid of MKW...

foobar2000 is the best tool for listening to, converting, checking, etc, etc, etc.

I'd insert another plug for Audiophilia here, but it's still a few weeks away from being ready to completely replace MKW.....soon though .

Re: Help With MKW SHN Tool (Installation)

What did you actually download?

Did you get the special installer from here:
http://foobar2000.blogsite.org/

If not, do so, and try that one.

Re: Help With MKW SHN Tool (Installation)

I'm still an advocate of Multi-Frontend and the various codec binaries, i.e. shorten.exe, flac.exe. It's really time to put MKW into the recycle bin. Have a look at my web page to download all you really need.

IMO you should add foobar2000 to your list!

I use an older version of winamp with the best plugins for audio and video. I don't use any of the other features like cd burning, etc. To me, foobar is a program like FLAC frontend which I use for conversions and tagging.

Winamp is great, besides, it looks cool...

You'll get there Five....once you get used to formatting strings and some of the visualization plugins foobar users are developing, you'll leave foobar behind .
