Unhappy FLAC Fingerprint not working!

I have 17 flac files in the window. I click the fingerprint button. The "save to" window comes up. I select a empty or not empty text file folder (notepad). I hit save. Then when I open the notepad file. Nothing there. Any ideas? Rick

Re: FLAC Fingerprint not working!

Are you giving the file long enough to be written?

(Also, as an aside, I've heard lots of PC users really like to use Traders Little Helper for all their lossless functions. However, I'm just a Mac user, so what do I know. )

Re: FLAC Fingerprint not working!

not sure what the problem is, try it with TLH (tutorial with link in my signature below).

after you save the ffp, right-click and open it with notepad

Re: FLAC Fingerprint not working!

Rick, did you see what Jamie posted here: http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...719#post424719 That should help you out.

When you save the flac fingerprints, you then want to open notepad and browse to the location of the files and then you may have to select 'show all' in order to see the fingerprint file in that folder (the extension may be .ffp and that may not be 'seen' by notepad). Perhaps that was the problem before?
