5.1 surround sound

I just got a home theater system and now a bunch of files I downloaded that are DTS and AC-3. My question is: can i burn them as is and play on my system?or do i need to turn them into another file like DTSWAV and then burn them. if so .. what program should i use? I see in foobar i can turn them into wav but wouldn't that destroy the channels?

Okay I think i just need to change the extension on the DTS to wav. Now whagt about the ac-3???

Re: 5.1 surround sound

Are you referring to video? If this is stuff you downloaded, I doubt you'll have to do anything other than burn-as-is. Can you elaborate further please?
