Re: Port forwarding help please

need more info on your equipment, pls
an actual 'hub' would have no need of port forwarding... as it likely wouldn't be a firewall.

what is you indication that you need to forward a port, at this point?

Re: Port forwarding help please

if all else fails you could always try http://www.portforward.com/ and see if you can find answers to your firewall issues there...good luck

Re: Port forwarding help please

thanx will give that link a go..
latest update

1 of my dl has finished . metalica - 26-09-1986 the last gig.. currently uploading but no upload rate..

1 is still dl - metallica 23-06-1992 dl speed 77kbs up speed 37kbs.

does this sound right, why is the one thats finished not showing an upload speed

also when i allow all connections on my firewall i get better dl/up speeds but when i turn it back on they drop alot

hey Deadone - i see you stopped/removed your first show from the torrent client
to seed back (give back/upload) you simply keep it running

you are not firewalled

Welcome to the Den mate - and thanks for taking the extra time to be sure your ports are open

Everyone wins with open ports!

Re: Port forwarding help please

I want to get my ratio in order, but what I am seeing is...
It looks like my isp provides me with a 10.*.*.* range IP address when I get a DHCP lease. If I understand correctly this means I am essentially on the ISP's LAN. Is there a way for me to forward through? I am showing up as firewalled. DO I simply need a different ISP?
