Firewalled (utorrent) question/issue
Hey folks,
Today for the very first time since I have joined TTD I see I am supposedly firewalled. Setup: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ NVIDIA GeForce 6200 w/ NVIDIA Turbocahe 1GB DDR1 RAM 360GB S-ATA 7200 rpm HDD (x2) Linksys WRT54G [wired] (Firmware Version : v4.30.1, HyperWRT 2.1b1 +tofu13c) Zone Alarm Security Suite Version: 7.0.337.000 I know I have configured my router, firewall & BT client correctly as I am not new to all this. When I test if the port is forwarded correctly, utorrent says it is, both with Zone Alarm enabled or disabled. I have restarted utorrent, completely removed it and reinstalled/configured it, tried different port numbers, restarted my computer & router. As well I reset my router & reconfigured it, all to no avail. I know my ISP does not throttle ports so I can eliminate them. I am currently seeding single torrents on Zomb & Dime, both say I am connectable and not firewalled. But for some reason, this site states I am firewalled. Just wondering if anyone has been expirencing the same issues and/or knows a solution to rectify the problem. Any help and/or input is greatly appreciated. Cheers No members have liked this post.

Re: Firewalled (utorrent) question/issue
Heres a few random port results. I am however using the first port listed. As mentioned I have configured all ports correctly. And know my ISP does not block or throttle ports.
Success: I can see your service on 207.210.28.xxx on port (25234) Your ISP is not blocking port 25234 Success: I can see your service on 207.210.28.xxx on port (6889) Your ISP is not blocking port 6889 Success: I can see your service on 207.210.28.xxx on port (6993) Your ISP is not blocking port 6993 Success: I can see your service on 207.210.28.xxx on port (12456) Your ISP is not blocking port 12456 Hopefully this "false positve" mentioned in the link provided in your post is NOT the reason I seem to have stopped uploading altogther to people here. That would be a shame to have such a thing be the cause of my ratio dropping, or the need to go back to vines/mail trades for shows. Guess I'll take break from downloading anything until its all worked out. Aww well, thanks anyway & enjoy the summer. No members have liked this post.
