I Cannot Seed. Help Please!

Hi.. I'm newbie here... I wanted to seed a Paul McCartney DVD and I think that I did everything like the instructions are... but in my torrent client (utorrent 1.7.5) when I start to seed indicates this message : "Tracker sending invalid data: <NULL> " Maybe I did something wronk? How could I fix it?

Thanks...

Re: I Cannot Seed. Help Please!

Did you make sure to try to seed the show using the torrent you downloaded from the thread, not the torrent you made? Try stopping the show, and delete the torrent from your client (red square then red X). Then download the torrent from the thread and start it. Hopefully that will get you to seeding. Check the Peers List in the thread to make sure you show up as a seeder. If you show up as a leecher instead of a seeder, take a look at this FAQ item: http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/...q_wrong_folder

Re: I Cannot Seed. Help Please!

Hi, noob here with a similar issue. I'm not posting a new torrent but 8 out of 20 of the completed downloads show as Tracker Sending Invalid Data <NULL> The remainder are status 'working.'

Client: Utorrent 1.7.5
Reading a few other threads that turned up on search I've:
-Unchecked 'enabled dht network'
-Unchecked 'enable dht for new torrents'
-Stopped the specific torrent, shut down Utorrent, rebooted, and turned on the torrents.

I don't really care about tracking the ratio but want to make sure to contribute back to the community. Looking at my profile it seems like the values are off with respect to individual torrents.

Thanks for a great live music resource and Thoughts?

We have a maximum of 10 simultaneous torrents per user at TTD. So that's why you won't get 20 working at the same time. Not sure why you are showing 8 out of 20 but I suspect that's just an anomaly.

It's more efficient to only seed a few at a time.

Re: I Cannot Seed. Help Please!

Ah! ok, thanks for the reply. Again, pretty new to the BT thing but I have a few obsolete gaming rigs I wouldn't mind leaving up and running stocked with lower demand content but with the cap maybe that wouldn't make sense.

Thanks again!
