Problem burning dual layered DVDs

I've been using ConvertXtoDVD using dual layered DVDs. And the DVDs won't play on any of my DVD Players. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Problem burning dual layered DVDs

Unfortunately DL DVD is very picky about how it's burned and not nearly as compatible as normal SL discs. Verbatim DVD+R DL discs are the best for quality and compatibility. Also try using ImgBurn to burn your VIDEO_TS folder to DVD. Check videohelp.com for guides using ImgBurn.

Re: Problem burning dual layered DVDs

i burn with Toast no problem, but i have to shut down all other programs, reboot, and then burn

i had a lot of issues with the last batch of Ritex discs, switched to Verbatim's and they've been fine...also, check you drive's firmware and update for better compatibility
