basic ? about portforwarding
After checking the FAQ, I started trying to get unfirewalled. When I got to the portforwarding part, I was instructed to set a static IP.
This is the part where I mention that I have NO IDEA what any of this means. I'm trying to set this up on a laptop that I use at home and at work, obviously with different service providers and routers. Can I still use portforwarding? No members have liked this post.

Re: basic ? about portforwarding
There is a list of Guides here - http://www.portforward.com/guides.htm
And here is the one for setting up a Static IP (pick your OS from the list) - http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm
