|
no audio on burned dvds
i have downloaded a couple of shows from differerent places and they all are missing audio files. am i doing something stupid or missing something. example the dbt show i am downloading dosen't have an audio file with it that i can find. any suggestions?

You don't end up with a separate audio file when you have a DVD. The audio and video are together in the vob files.

i use nero to burn the files and i get the video, chapters etc but no audio am i missing a conversion or something. thanks for the help No members have liked this post.

do you know what format the audio was supposed to be?
Like was it AC3 or LPCM or MPEG Layer 2

What player are you using to play it? Is it a player that plays DVDs? You can look in our FAQ under Software, or just grab VLC from videolan.org
